Kaylen & Dan always wanted to throw a big party so New Year’s Eve was the perfect date! You know how we love couples that want to rip up the rule book and do things their own way?! Well these two were pretty much the perfect clients!
The evening started at 6pm with Champagne on arrival, so far, so perfect! While the ridiculously stylish wedding party took photos in the penthouse guests mingled and marvelled at the incredible florals from Sea of Roses!
The heartfelt ceremony officiated by two of the couple’s closest friends was magical, and I may or may not have had to leave the room because I was crying so much!
Following that, the food started, and it basically never stopped! Rather than have a traditional sit down dinner the couple opted to have a variety of food stations throughout the evening, treating guests to tacos, a gnocchi bar, burgers, pretzels, cake and more!
Design was really important to Kaylen & Dan (another reason we love them!) and so in spite of the relaxed dining style the seating areas were still very upscale and elegant. Wooden Farm tables and an epic floral install made a dramatic statement for the Head Table while guests had the choice of sitting at rounds or one of the lounge areas. The food stations and unassigned seating really encouraged guests to mingle and kept the party flowing.
Cheers to you, Kaylen & Dan! If your life together is even a fraction as perfect as your wedding day was, it’s going to be a dream love story! Thank you so much for choosing us to be a part of it.
