When I first met Devin & Matt last year I knew immediately I wanted to book them! They were brimming with incredible ideas and their excitement was infectious! They had a pretty clear idea of the style they were going for.. intimate and boho with a dollop of Scandinavian, but with 2 small children and busy lives they needed a wedding planner to help pull all their ideas together into a cohesive plan & design. Lucky for us!
As avid lovers of adventure the venue had to be somewhere that showcased the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest and Mountain Springs Lodge in Leavenworth more than fit the bill.
In order to match Devin’s everyday free-spirited nature and style we kept the color palette varied, with muted earthy shades and incorporated lots of different organic textures and materials; plant died linens, the incredible handmade backdrop from Laura Burkhart Creative, hand painted tambourines for the bridesmaids and of course, the most incredible florals from Colibri Blooms. An avid crafter, Devin was a dream to work with, I only had to say.. “you know, if you could face the idea of making 60 embroidery hoops, they’d make incredible escort cards/favors” and 60 of the cutest boho designs just appeared! She also died all the linens herself, her Dad caught the salmon that was served for dinner, her cousin made the delicious wedding cake and Matt’s cousin made the wooden boards used for serving their family style meal. It was truly a family affair and all the little personal touches added up to make this wedding as unique as it was beautiful.
